Ayc repaired

Big thanks to Dan (svengali),got one of his Ayc repair kit to repaire my Ayc pump. I was surprised how easy it was, the worse part was taking the old pump apart and cleaning.
Got it all cleaned and built the pump back up, primed the pump on the bench and bingo just like new. Fitted the pump back on car bled the system all good
And probably save myself a packet.
Anyone who thinks that their pumps has given up I recommend one of thees kits

To right Lee, I was going to buy a second hand pump, but thought I could buy a second hand unit only for it to fail again + the used pumps are crazy money.

ive been looking everywhere to buy a re-coned pump, but there like rocking horse s**t, just cant find one anywhere, so might try the kit

How much are the repair kits? My pump is off my car as I'm under going a reshell, might be worth me doing this whilst it's off to save any time and hassle in future!

Recon pumps can be bought from Chris @ autotorque

i tried them, they don't have any at the moment due to high demand :sad:
