They're great cars, the 2.0l ones are the best too, the 2.5ls have weak cylinders

Only thing that would put me off is the level of tune for the price. I'd want something much more powerful for that money.

Billy never look at it as a regret;) Always say to yourself 'Well that was fun but maybe could of been better':D

Personally i like them and Always will like them,it's just a shame the price's plummit far to quickly and end up falling into the hands of people who can afford the car but can not afford to run/maintain/repair them!:arms:

It's Better too look back and think If I Hadn't/had/done that,than I wished I had/done that;)

If you fancy it go and have a look! It's only time and fuel mate:)

Tis a lovely looking motor, don't know what the newer ones are like to drive but I had a P1 & that used to make me grin all day long, fantastic car BUT was constantly worried the engine was gonna go pop (was on it's 3rd engine when I got rid)

Newage engines are much much better. The P1s were renowned for popping due to them all being uk registered imports running maps that still suited the high octane levels in jap fuel unlike here.

Strong too, from what I remember the new ages only really need FMIC, injectors, turbo and a couple bits to see high 400's :wtf: (2.5 engine is only good up to 450bhp max) pretty sure a guy who mapped my old scoob was running 550bhp on a standard bottom end in a 2003 blob eye STI

Obviously they would need better brakes suspension etc etc hence what I said about the state of tune to cost.
