Evo 4 GSR - De Cat

Hi Guys,

Thought I would post this up, coz it has been bugging me ever since I have fitted it.

De cated my car about a month ago now and I don't know.

I'm not sure if it has made it run better or worse. :sad:

Certainly sounds louder and meaner.

Its 3" all the way through and the last thing I did was the cat.

Any ideas/comments??

Not sure what you are getting at buddy!

The only way to know if it has made a difference, which I suspect it has, is to go for a Dyno run!!!

As it happens, we are having a Dyno Meet on Saturday the 4th of December, so why don't you sign up???

putting a 3" exhaust on you have changed the cars set up you will need it mapping now :razz:

Think i may too.....ive a huge pipe and thought it was standard. Looks like i may be wrong.

If any of you need upgrade ECU's then it might be a good idea to PM Jamie or Sponners, assuming Russ does not have anything available on the day that is.

Even if he does, he might be a little hard pressed for time so you may want to get them fitted in advance!!!

im guessing they'll be over £100 plus fitting etc, will wait til early next year.

the car should run better with the decat......as there is nothing blocking the exhaust flow

probably cause the boost to rise though so you should keep an eye on that.
