Ok after fancying a different engine/chatter noise i came across these

Synapse Engineering | Official Page for Blow Off Valve, Wastegates, Intake

there is a review on this bov "on the other side" by someone named "Addo" but wont let me link if you do a search it looks very very good to be fair, and the noise when pulling is nice :)

now i just cant seem to find a dealer in the UK is there any dealer on here that gets them? or is it US only meaning im gonna have to add shipping charges etc on top... also anyone here got one fitted that can vouch for them?...

heres the best place at the mo i can find http://www.maperformance.com/synaps...-blow-off-valve-kit-mitsubishi-evo-8-9-x.html

cheers all.

i have the DV version, which is the smaller one. its a really nice design. it fits much better than the BOV and these things are really responsive so finding the right setting can be a pain. but these things hold like crazy! with my turbo my car will hit 28psi within 1000-1200 rpms (starting pull at 2500) and tapers 2-3psi by 7500 rpm

its definitely a really good BOV and worth the money! just need a little patience lol

I agree the design looks very weird and wonderful but must work lol when i saw holds 100psi i was sold lol. after alot of searching and researching there really isnt any bad reviews on this valve... only downside is there doesnt seem to be any UK sellers but for £218 all in that aint to shabby to be fair. so you stand by this brand vmrevo9?

i definitely stand by this product! one of the best mods i have done. the DV i have holds 60psi definitely alot more than i'll ever see lol

i had originally purchased the BOV but since i had a hard time fitting it with my stock upper intercooler pipe and Perrien intake pipe i opted for the smaller DV.

its definitely a great upgrade especially if your upgrading from the stock DV.

Great thanks pal, gonna give it a shot. I'll order one nxt week and see how I get on, did you have to go for a map or anything after u fitted it? Or just plug and play with no issues?

well its essentially plug and play but like everything else performance wise getting it mapped is beneficial, especailly if your car starts holding more boost or spooling quicker because of the bov
