i agree with dic on this one if you do them yourself its a must to take out the glass ive done them myself in the past done quite a good job but takes alot off time and patience!

and so easy to f@@k it up. plus get good quality tint, as cheap tint can go blotchy after long exposure from the sun

somebody probably took it off because most likely the same thing has happened as my e 5 the little heat strips for clearing the back window has distorted the tint and i cant see a thing through it.

I m sure thats ilegal ha gonna get it sorted soon

i think they are just measuring up mate....
i have never seen a tint put on the outside, but could be wrong.

on the rears or with any curved glass, its put on the outside to measure up and pre shrink it the curveture of the glass, so there are no lines/wrinkles after!:)

Yes it was just shrunk to size on the outside and fitted onthe inside.

is there a gap on the top of the side windows Geof when the windows are wound down a bit?

do you know if they can offer the service of taking the side windows out to tint them? so the tint goes right to the edge of the glass?

the tint goes fully left to right and bottom only a 1mm from edge at the top. they take thr quarter windows out. give them a bell they only charged me 140 a car thats for fronts too :):)

thats not a bad price at all,

I'd never have the front ones done again though.

I've found even the light tint on the fronts can be a right pita at night time.
