Forge Motorsport Performance Car Action Day
Four weeks to go (ish) and the countdown starts NOW...!
It’s time to get your skates on if you’re planning to attend the Forge Motorsport Performance Car Action Day on Saturday 14th September 2013...
Owner’s Club Bookings. We’ve currently received 64 Owner’s Club Booking Forms and will start putting the site plan together from next Monday (Monday 19th August 2013). Make sure to get your booking form to us therefore if you haven’t yet booked in as it would be good to start tieing up the final details!
Plus... all Owner’s Club booking forms received by this Sunday 18th August will be entered into the FREE draw to win an Exclusive Track Session for their Club (to take place at 4pm on Saturday 14th September)!

What’s On...?
There will be plenty of “on track” and “off track” action as this event is working up to be a great day for all...
On Track...
The track will be busy from 9am onwards as we welcome drivers to take on the challenges of this international circuit!
Highlights of the day will include:
12.30pm: Drifting Demonstrations.
There will be 3 x drifting teams at the Forge Motorsport Action Day this year. The Castle Combe regulars, the Drift Battles, will commence proceedings and will be closely followed by Acorn Infinity Motorsport and Team Falken whose drifting teams will both be making star appearances. Paul from Team Falken won the latest (4th) pro class round of the British Drift Championships at Lydden Hill so we should be in for a good show as the guys take on the Circuit for some drifting fun.
Top Tip: The Drifting Teams will concentrate their drifting efforts at Camp Corner and Quarry so these are the best spots for watching the drifting. Alternatively, set yourself up along the barrier fence at Avon Rise as you should be able to see the displays as they approach!

1pm: Forge Exclusive Session
This is a chance to watch some of the Forge special display vehicles get out on track. It should be a fun session full of fabulous cars!
2.30pm: Drifting Demonstrations
Missed the 12.30pm demonstrations OR just want a bit more?... this is your chance to see the 3 x drifting teams (Drift Battles, Acorn Infinity Motorsport and Team Falken) as they take on the Circuit for some further drifting action.
3pm: Meguiar’s UK Invitation Parade
Meguiar’s UK will be running a special invitation parade with some incredible vehicles out on parade. These are the cars that you wouldn’t normally see on track as they’re just too good!! Speeds will be slow (ish) but the cars will be great!
It should be quite a spectacle!

Owner’s Club Displays
We currently have 64 Owner’s Clubs displaying over 900 cars between them! Club stands will be ranging from the Paddock to Camp and Chippenham Road.
The full list of Owner’s Clubs already booked in can be found on the Owner’s Club confirmation list.
All details will be sent out to clubs (including admission tickets, confirmation of club stand space, breakfast meal vouchers etc.) in the next couple of weeks.
Other...
Camping!
Fancy pitching your tent or caravan just metres from the circuit... then, now’s your chance!
Castle Combe Circuit is offering camping and caravanning opportunities with a green field site at Camp Corner. Permanent toilets are available, there is a standpipe close by for drinking water and showers are available in the main Paddock. Torches are strongly recommended!
As per ALL our Action Days, we will be rewarding Owner’s Clubs (and cars) that make that extra special effort to make their stand (or car) stand out. We will have 2 x great awards up for grabs on the day:
a) Best Club Stand
b) Car of the Show
and our eagle eyed judges will be out during the day to check out the stands and individual cars... so make sure it’s “full polish and bunting” as you never know when they might be passing by!
Forge Motorsport will also be running their own ‘On the Day’ awards... details coming very soon.
