lower ball joint on evo 8 - dont even bother!!!

Just spent all day removing what seemed to be an incredibly tight ball joint, in the end i had to cut it out only to find its not supposed to be removed its sealed in on a ridge at the bottom!
Slid the new one in that i got from a local parts place only to find that it doesnt even fit!!
looks like im going to have to buy a new wishbone arm :-(
What a waste of time!
Anyone had a similar experience??

I always buy a complete arm now mate as i have had this years ago on my SeriesII Thema Turbo and learn't the hard way:arms:

dont they sell roll centre adjuster lower ball joints for evo 7 8 9 ? how do they fit if yours dont come out ?

Most dealer's won't supply parts for our car's.
1- they're imports regardless if you think they're not including 8/9 's
2- they're high performance cars
So you need to go specificalists
3- minor service parts are normally only on parts they list
