New exhaust!

Hi all

My back box has decided to develop a small rattle :cry: sounds like a piece of weld has broken off inside and is rattling inside the back box but behind the cheese grater style pipe running thought the box.

It's a Japspeed S1 system

Thinking of trying to cut a hole on the inside and shake the piece of metal out?

Also thinking I could get a new exhaust

Any ideas on ones to buy, I'm after a quiet one for trackday usage.

The S2 system on japspeed looks ok

But I'm worried the smaller diameter may be restrictive

Your right it will be more restrictive. Just get the fueling checked if you do purchase. It probably won't be as much difference as you think...

Yeah it's just the S1 like I have is 2.5" then 3" through

The s2 2.75" all the way through.

I may just have to put up with it though, need to spend in more important places right now. :razz:

For the money I don't think they are a bad exhaust, I know some of their stuff can be very poo lol

That c tec system is for the big boys! £1200 for down pipe and system :shock:

I developed a rattle in my back box a couple weeks ago so done some exploratory surgery last week :whistling: one thing after another etc I now have no mesh, no retaining pipe and no baffles......... Oops haha

I knowI like being a big boy Phone NigelS or Rick@carbon goodies and speak to thm as am sure they can move a little bit on price fella specially if you mention ME Best money you will ever spend mate

Love the look of the ctec though I'd end up with a manifold too if I got the exhaust :awesome:

They do a silenced D cat but that to me is a waste!
