Quick update! Car took a trip to indigo last thursday for a map tweek to suit all the alterations i've been doing resently and am well chuffed with the reasults as boost controller solonoid was sticking and making it difficult to get a smooth boost curve! Anyway Ant done a top job as usual and pulls like a train!

Figures are :-

309.6 WHP @ 5950rpm
@ wheels 334.7 ftpd @ 3850rpm
Boost set @ 1.7 bar

So fudge factor would be:-
389.6 flywheel HP
414.7 flywheel torque

Ant recons theres alittle more achivable with a working solonoid! But for the minute im well happy with how it drives, asuwm getting such a whack of torque so low down the rev range! :)!

Time for some tidying up and remedial/ preventive work to be done, as work decided to cut my hrs down and stop overtime! :-@!! Was going to wait till winter, but as can't really afford to run
Car for a while decided to park up and crack on!

So to start off, bumpers, skirts and wheels came off and underside degreased and jet washed ready for some fresh underseal!

A couple of before shots of the underside!

Next up is calipers as in need off a clean up and colour change!!

All clean ready for new paint!

Will update with pics of progress as it happens!

Right update! Had a busy day at the workshop today!
Went up with the intension if bit of wire brushing cleaning and undersealing!
Got there looked under car and decided if i was going to do it i should do a proper job!
So out came diff, petrol tank, ayc pump and anything else underneath the back end!
Good job i did!!! As photos show done it just in time as although it looks terrible it is all only surface at the moment!
So now the unenviable task of cleaning it all back to bare metal, rust treatment and the a good couple of coats of underseal!
Plus as its all out anyway some refurbinging of the suspension arms and some new bushes before re-asembly!
Wish me luck!

Heres a little pile of bits to be refurbed!

And the first few bits done waiting to be refitted!

Will put up more pics as i progress!

Nice work mate, really inspiring me to get of my ass and sort mine out. Have you used sholtz to underseal it or hammerite?
