hmm surely if your car has been sprayed and oven baked(cured) you should be able to wash as normal.. ie powerwashing etc:razz:

I don't know the correct terms for what its called so I'm just gonna say in my terms what he used - it was some sort of heat lamp type of thing.

The wings had to be pulled out the filled in, and sanded down then re sprayed - might have missed a couple of steps out along the way, but that's the jist of it.

but was still advised to leave it for a while to harden before using a pressure washer against the fresh paint.
She goes back in for a detail end of next week so we shall see what happens.

Bout two weeks to be on the safe side.

I can put a couple of pics up in a bit when I collect her but her front bumper isn't finished yet, it's been a mare from the moment I brought it ! so she's still got the old one on, but you'll be able to see the difference in the wings and rear panels though

She goes back in tomorrow to be finished off.

Reason I'm picking her up in a bit is because I've got work tonight so i need my car back.
Then have to drop it back off in the morning, get some sleep then pick her up complete ! Hopefully lol

Don't bother pressure washing any more its not good for any paint hose pipe gun is all you need.

I once stripped a load of paint off one of my old cars with a pressure washer and the help of a fresh stone chip :shock:
