Mobile phone

[madmanc]

Hi all my contract is up and I'm thinking about upgrading my phone but don't know what to go for I've got iPhone 4S at the min but don't like the look of the new iPhone 5 so what to try another phone what do u guys recommend ??

I got rid of my iPhone last month. I've now got a google Nexus 4.
Bought it outright for £280 and I'm now on a one month rolling contract with "3".
£15 a month for unlimited data, texts and 200 mins a month.

Compared to the £47 a month I was paying for the iPhone it'll have paid itself off in 9 months and I'm not stuck in a 2 year contract.

Great phone as well

Will look into that phone I've never hear of it I do want a touch screen 1,

It's google's flagship phone.
If you buy it from the google store it arrives the next day too.
It's £279 for the 16Gb and £239 for the 8Gb.

I love mine and don't miss my iPhone one little bit.

I'm an apple geek, and to be honest cant fault the 5 makes the 4 feel like a lump of lead

I can tell you which phone not to go for!!!! Dont have the new nokia lumia!!! It's pants:arms:

I looked at the total cost of ownership when I was looking at mine.
The Samsung is about £600 to buy compared to the £279 of the Nexus.
I'm on a 1 month £15 a month contract that I can cancel at any time. As opposed to the £40 or £50! (or there abouts) a month with the S4 on a 24 month contract.

I get the latest version of Android as soon as it's released (not 3 months later once Samsung have added all their stuff onto it).
And as the Nexus is made by LG you get 50Gb of free cloud storage.

[fq-craigus]

Are they releasing the 5s??

Well I'm just guessing on a logical progression
2g
3G
3GS
4
4s
5
........

[dessimpson]

Let's hope the 5s is better than the 5!
