Worked on two cars both had loose plugs, to the extent one was blowing past.
Put new discs on never cleaned the hub resulting in knackered discs.
Had a car with steering problem for a week never fixed it, taken to MG'S reversed in garage your steering racks knackered..lol

Mapped car mmmmmm same map with boost turned up.

If i remember right his young son was helping him in the garage, take your choice chaps.

Use Simon he knows his stuff, sorted my map out ( was previously done by a well respected tuner and was a bit iffy :shock: )

to be fair james i forgot about you and a certain company just proves my point really ,horror stories everywhere you go but how did they look after you when things went wrong,i bet i already know the answer.

northy just had tweeks at different places i think ,albeit daz messed up with too much negative timing if i remember correctly but what do you expect with it being mapped by different people!

TBF Russ I understand mistakes happen and every single trader/Tuner has had issues with their work but it's how the Tuner/Garage deals with the problem that sorts the Greedy from the Honest and passionate Tuners!

Yes My car got Ducked up 15 miles after picking it up from MG and Yes they wanted to charge me further £3k to fix it after spending £3400 having work done!

I must say the standard of work and attention to detail was good from MG but the after care was disgusting and so was the attitude and response to the problem! Basically after 3 weeks waiting I found out I was having to pay for something I had no hand in doing and at no point of handing money over was I told it could end in disaster!

So One call to Gaz at CPP and my car was collected and taken up to chesire where for £300 more....yes that's correct £300 more than what MG wanted to charge me for repairing my car with second hand parts I got a fully forged fast road engine build on my engine!

I have said this time and time again if you are fair with people you get a bigger bite of the cherry! As the saying goes 'Little and Often' Not pull somebodies pants down and milk them for everything they have got and never see them again!

Sorry for late reply been out All day.
I've put a 9 turbo on updated internals gone from a 16g to 20g plus its a 10.5 housing bigger fmic 3" hard pipe kit alloy rad kelford 264 cams standard pulleys updated plugs hks filter 255 Walbro pump stainless from the turbo cosworth cam n balance shaft belts.
So do you think 420-430 is possible oh and ported my manifold

This does puzzle me, i had ford rs's for many years and in all the time nobody in the rsoc had a good word to say about nobles mapping especially when you had the likes of motorsport developments,turbosystems,graham goode racing,collins performance, ahmed bayjoo,harvey gibbs, MA developments these companys built and mapped some of the fastest cosworths known to man and are still doing it so why would you let a man map your car now that you wouldnt let do it back then? Just my opinion

Not yet was gonna try this and if I liked the power go all in with a bigger turbo internals injector ect

Get the Engne fully forged first and a decent clutch to take future power you want to run! I learn't the hard due to lack of the right advice and not doing my homework/searching Thread and forums first!

Always get a few quotes first and don't be affraid to ask what you think are stupid questions!

I am now running a fully forged fast road set up capable of 700+BHP and I even had a RS Diff conversion done whilst in for it's last map as the price offered to me on the day was never ever going to be matched anywhere again!

I now do a 200 mile round trip to have things done on my car if I can't do them myself instead of a 40 mile round trip!

My cars done 40k though so I'd more than likely need a rebore and tbh standard pistons are good for 500-550 so think I'mpnly going to have the rods done
