Had R888's, Toyo T1R's and I've now got Falken FK452's.
Hated the R888's. Toyo's were ok. Falkens seem ok too.

I don't drive like an idiot or track the car so plenty good enough for me.

I live in England and I don't know if you've noticed but it actually rains quite a lot here?

In the rain you might as well just take the R888's off and drive on the rims.

Am I the only one who finds my R888's really good in heavy rain?

I've tried toyo t1r Michelin pilot sport 2 and now Goodyear eagle F1 asymmetrics and I have to say I would put toyos in the same bin as nangkangs.
Pilot sport 2 was a very good tyre closely followed by the good years but the michelins last longer and a bit more grip.

Also run yoko ad08 through the summer which have lasted very well indeed but had to take them off cos are shocking in this cold weather and as the tread is now down to about 3mm the aqua planning was starting to get in the way of driving lol :)

T1R'S really soft tyre walls , rubbish

888 Great when it's dry not bad in the wet, avoid standing water with them.

Ado8 's not as good as 888 in the dry better in the wet. although not as good as F1's etc which are full out road tyres not semi slicks.

I went for the AD08's as they seemed the best overall, the ado'8s were only three seconds a lap slower in the wet compared to my dry time earlier in the day at mira sprint last year.

for the mileage I do now I will be using ADO8's as my next tyre

TBH mine have been great, they have done 4 sprints, a track day a lot of runs at the pod and about 7k on the road.
Enough tread to last this year as well i hope .
