Got a problem n not sure what it is

Right I thought it would be a good idea to relocate my battery to the boot while my car was stored in my garage for a few months, so seems I had a while to do it I've been doing it bit by bit over a couple of weeks, it's been all wired up for about a week now but I didn't try start my car as it would stink my garage out with the fumes but the ignition lights on the dash all worked, anyway today I drained my radiator and put fresh in so I had to start the car to get it flowing, but the fuse blew (50amp) so I put in a 60amp and it started but blew straight away, so I hard wired it without a fuse and it was running as if it was going to cut out so had to keep tapping the eccellorator and my engine management light came on, so I put the battery back under the bonnet and wired it back to how it was originally was and still had to keep tapping accelerator and then the engine management light came on again, my car was mapped last year and cause my battery has been disconnected for a while does it need remapping again ????

Don't need mapping just take it to someone to look at it

It was fine before I put battery in the boot, so I put it back to how it was under bonnet so it should be ok if it doesn't need mapping surely

Changing a battery will not damage or erase the mapp
When fitting a new battery you need to let the ecu learn again
Like I did on my MR idling for 20mins

But if the fuse is blowing there is an issue live touchin earth somewhere maybe

I've sorted the fuse blowing situation as I've put the battery back to standard position but the battery was disconnect for a few days so could this cause it maybe

Mmmmm before anything else is put I've just remembered I haven't connected my induction cables back up to the hks lol this could possibly be the fault lol

Hmm thats not good mate i would never bypass a fuse, could have damaged the ecu? Could also be something unrelated tho have you touched/knocked anything else?

That had to be earthing out somewhere, probably where you put it thought the bulk head.

Moved the battery to the boot of my car years ago and its been fine.. Only issue I had was the wrong battery which died in the end lol.
