Beeping noise ??

Hi

I own a 96 evo 4 gsr

I've notice when I'm driving the car every now & then I hear a "" beep beep , beep beep " noise from what appears to be behind the dash ???

It does 2 beeps randomly & I've no clue what it is

Yes it does have Ann alarm fitted the siren box is under the bonnet & it's horrendously loud arming & disarming

This beep inside is more like a digital watch or travel clock beep ???

Do evo IVs have external temp gauges? If so it will be the sub 3 degrees warning that the roads might be icy. If not....I have no idea.

The VI and the X have external temp gauges, I know the VIII doesn't, not sure about the other models...but if the car has a temp gauge you get a "beep" when it dips to 2C. It bugged the hell out of me too until I realised that's what it was If the temp fluctuates through your journey from 2-3-4-3-2-3-4 etc, then each time it dips to 2 you get the beep.

My 5 does it,beeps twice if the outside temperture is low

Yep first time mine done it i couldnt work out what it was, but then remembered it done it on a friends audi so worked out that mine done the same...

Yes it has external temp monitoring , thanks that would explain it
