Clear cam cover

Well with big thanks to Frankie on here for deciding to part with his cam cover couldn't bring myself to buy a new one but couldn't say no to a well priced second hand one. Few scratches on it but nothing major :razz: good for checking condition of the belt. Just a shame there isn't hks cam pulleys behind it.

Also after waiting a month to see what was happening with it, picked up a koyo rad off ant @ indigo at a steal. Few marks and flattened fins.mainly where the turbo is so clearly someone has stuck there hand between them lol. Gave the top a quick blast of paint just to fit in with the theme of the bay.

All that's left is to drop the old fluid as wanted to make sure there were no leaks and fill up with new coolant from Mitsubishi with discount

Haha yeah it is a bit coloured at the moment, want to spray the rocker cover and get more yellow hoses but all in time :razz:

yeah im off for the blue look as my evo is black thinks its best, but was going with yellow to match my brakes but sod it blue from now on :razz:

I have plenty of blue samco pipe lying around lol.. The yellow cavillers looked good on a black car. Going to go with blue?

too much work for me changing cam pulleys, although i have said this year i will be tarting up my engine a bit

Hks ones are purple wouldn't of minded some of them, but the cams are more important than the pulleys lol.

Lol.. Still worth getting, would of liked the if they were cheaper. MR cams are a good upgrade over the stock fq's. hks is the way to go

Nice mate, worth having..wish I had bought the gates Kevlar belt now though :razz:

Flushed out the coolant today and filled up with some millers coolant. Just need to get the fitting kit for the slimline fan now.
