Ye I no about that discount,the guys from ep racing were tryin to get me to sign up wen I was purchasing some discounted parts at a show(I asked for the discount for buyin more than 1 thing),ul find 9 times out of 10 if ur cheeky enough to ask ull get.

Yeah I think the site sucks too - I asked one questions and it got about 400 views and no one bothered to come back to me, not even a 'I don't know mate', sad site!!! I'm sticking here - Glad I found this site first my searching in google in the first place.

The thing you will find is that only MLR goods (their own personal stock) will be subject to fully paid up membership discounts.

Any trader on there or any other Forum for that matter would be fools if they stuck to a two price system when selling or offering their services knowing that the customer is a Forum member whether fully paid up or not as they ALL rely on the review that the customer will post on the Forum to bring in more business.

What I want to know at this point is, does the MLR give a percentage of the membership fee to each of the registered Traders to help with the discount they offer or is it all MLR's money???

Not really a good system at all in my opinion.

There was a deal a couple of weeks back on Wiseco Stroker Kits on the MLR and it was a group buy thing I think. Plenty of members were rubbing their hands at it and signing up. I was kind of bewildered at the price and components on offer as I sell the identical Kits for less money to the average Joe on the streets

The HRD suspension on the group buy was only £30 cheaper then I offer it which meant that it was a 5% discont. Hardly worth the group buy really. The HRD was still a good a deal I must say, as you got to pick and choose your set up and the Rep on the MLR is very accomodating and I quite like the way he goes on

Not in a gayish way of course More customer service orientated!!!

You do get stand tickets for shows though and other perks I believe which have got to be a plus although I am not too sure on that one.

Yeah fair point mate.....

I've just found that in the 2 years I've been a member I've saved over the cost of the membership, the moment I am not saving, well, that £35 stays firmly in my pocket (probably not for long though lol)
