Can i weld my rocker cover???

As above i need to know if i can have my rocker cover welded,

i recently got a evo 7 rocker cover from a member on here and when i got back from work today, it had arrived so i opened it and to my shock found that the top corner of the pully cover had snapped off:shock: , (wont affect the seal)
so im assuming the the courier service has bashed it around at some point, because it wasnt stated in the sale advert that it was broken, but tbh the packaging wasnt very good and never had fragile on the parcel but that besides the point,

any help would be much appreciated

Sure I'm right in thinking that they say the evolution cover is magnesium so no you can't weld it.

yes mate the gys on MLR say the 7 is magnesium and id have to find a magnesium welder and it would be expensive, id speak to the guy i got it off but i cant remember his username and the sale thread has dissaperrd,:shock:

Don't forget the 7 cover is magnesium!
Check how they'd weld it and tell them it's magnesium.
Aps- the 7 cover is sort after because of its material!!

yeah Rob im aware that there mag now, as i wasnt before, alls i need to know is can i have it welded by a good magnesium welder?
