evo 5 gear sticks

When my evo 5 is cold and just started it is very hard to get in to gear ,but when it worms up it is ok . Does anyone know what it could be ?

quite a common fault on them mate, nothing to worry about.

you can try using a different gear oil as this sometimes helps.


....I found on my old one that when first is a little difficult when cold then try selecting 3rd and then 1st (if that makes sense)

Agreed!

I would go for an oil change immediately and see how it goes from there.
