the claimed 500bhp is the S205 now the S205b
i never reached the majic figure with mine bur did have the wrong choice of cams too.
mate of mine also faild to reach 500 on the same dyno mine was on even though he had the right cams. however on a different dyno he mad 525

Yeah it did reach the magic 500 ATF well infact it pulled 510 that's with stock cams and and a few other mods lol

They sound great when on boost and it is the s205b the b being a billet wheel...

Yeah I think that's the 1 , cos I know u can part exchange your 9 turbo in and get 1 already sorted . Is that rite ?

Not sure on the spec of the s205/209. But I would ask about a rebiuld of your 9 with a 20g wheel and 3" anti surge intake
By the looks of it the s209 is based on the 9 tubby because it requires the 9 oil water lines

I looked at these a while back and still potentially in plan.
As mentioned the TT S209 in the direct evo ix replacement and good for at least 450bhp (The tuners recommend going for 750cc injectors too so bare that in mind).
They still do the swap out and to be honest for the savings you make against other replacement turbos it has got to be worth a go.
I think its a place called 'enginetuner.co.uk' in Plymouth that are the recognised fitters, mappers and do the replacements for these.
When I check a few months back they were also enhancing the build of these to a newer spec over previous versions if I recall (or that may have been on the S205's not sure)

I have a 209 on my 4 it's a standard fit the only thing is you might have to cut some of the fan shroud away.... Turbo technics will take any evo turbo in part exchange and also deliver and collect free of charge, but if you live near Northampton it is well worth a vist, you can get great deals....
