Nurburgring this weekend!

Any body else going this weekend?

Prepping the V all this week, me and my mate are off on thursday night hull to Rotterdam :awesome:

He's taking his WRX STI v5 running 375bhp. Should be some good pics taken will get em on here as soon as I can.

Yeah went the same time last year and I drove my friends impreza. The only downer was the ferry ride home, no joke the ferry must have been going up and down on waves by about 20 feet!!! Felt like you were drunk walking around, tried to counter balance it with lots of magners............. Made it so much worse :razz:

28-32 degrees the whole time we were away. The ring was rammed solid so didn't enjoy it to much as it was crawling with flat out porsche's everywhere. Then we went onto spa for a full day open pit lane. Now that was awesome !!

Yeah there's some proper crazies driving about on the ring, porche gt3 is the local Chav car there! They're everywhere lol.

Ah that spa trip sounds ace! Defo the plan for next year.

I'm looking at doin a ring trip at the end of the year with a few people , just wonderd how people went about doin there weekend ( ie how many hotels / best way to get there and how much would the whole weekend roughly cost .? Nice 1

we booked our own hotel for the ring and then the spa one was organised for us by mlr.
i can do some more digging if you like ?

eurotunnel is quickest but the ferry is cheaper. just follow sat nav and what ever you budget for, double it just in case for unexpected costs like i had

I'm back. Had a great weekend and got 3 laps in?

I didn't really want to do more as I'm not totally familiar with the track and kind of have to put my all into one lap, so it was one lap per day.

On the hunt for tyres now in the form of 888's, so many quick cars were running them! All the hardcore German cars had em too.

It was fun blitzing bikes (power rangers as I call them) had 3 or 4 pin it out of corners only to see a black evo still trying to get past!! :razz:

Ha yes in time lol. I didn't get a massive amount of pics, I'm not very good at thinking "I'll get a pic of that" lol.
