Cannot Engage Gear

Took the evo out for a drive yesterday & noticed that i had to push the clutch further down to engage gear,which started to get worst i pulled up to a junction & selected 1st & still had the clutch pressed & the car still wanted to drive luckily there was no cars so i managed to get on the main road the only gear i could select was 4th , i limped home in 4th gear Now if i starts the car & try to select ANY gear it wont engage,but will if the car isnt started. I had a ACT prolite flywheel & clutch 2 years ago & only covered 5000 miles.

ANY IDEAS

something caught down by the cables maybe?
strange that it wont take gear when shut off.

It doesnt seem to bet that as it got gradually worse throughout the day. Wondering if its the master cylinder?

does it engage gear with engine off and without clutch pressed?

check for any fluid round the slave cylinder aswell. I replaced one last year on a v

If you press the clutch down it doesnt bite until about 2" from the floor.
I have just checked the cylinder & its full

If you pump the clutch about 10 times, then does the gear change get any easier?
If so, may be a hydraulic problem (master or slave) Give it a good bleed and see if it makes a difference.

If not It may be a clutch problem
