right just had a little crash in my work saxo, went up the arse of some lady at about 5 mph my car fine and her had a small mark which i could t cut out but we changed details and i offered to pay to get it fixed resprayed if needed. What im worryed about is that i don't get rapped by the insurance and her putting in a claim for whip lash or some thing like that. Any info would be great. Thanks

If you settle private she can't claim for whiplash, so if you go down that route make sure you write up a quick form for her to sign to the effect of no more comeback and case closed.

If she goes insurance route she can claim, but a good assessor will look at damage and ask the question. Just be prompt with sorting it for her and job done or drag it out for 9 months and they can't persue you anyways

If you have all her details go pay someone to errr......drop a fag under her tank :)

Then deny all knowledge of a so called bump that never happened

Or..... Notify your insurance but tell them it's only a £50 paint touch up so your paying yourself , they will then know to fooook off any future 'whiplash' claim they may make :)......it WILL NOT put your insurance up , I did 4-5k of damage in my old wr1 and paid everyone out of my pocket and my insurance was fine.

Option 1 is still the best way to deal with it

i'd wait till they get in touch with you dude.
if she does decide to let you pay the insurance will record the accident regardless if you tell them about it.

Have a pet hate for pointless whip lash claims - sure they wanted to bring in tighter restrictions on people claiming for whip lash.

Not sure why they would want to claim for such a small bump, all the hassle and costs.. Plus she will have to claim first on her insurance before it comes back on you so will affect her insurance until its all sorted..

Hope you get it sorted privately mate.

It's irrelevant.....all the insurance will do is ask you to send proof that the matter is over , I had my no claims held back as I was in the process of changing companies, but as soon as the council told them alls good and paid they released my no claims straight away
