Made a stupid schoolboy error yesterday. Reversed up a dropped curb and as I went up all I heard was crunch......
Thought I had missed a railing or wall but luckily not, as I drove forward saw something laying on the floor, got out picked it up and it was my mudflap and inner arch part, from the rear near side.

It's ripped the screws bolts and clips clean out grrrrrrrr.

Turns out I caught that side as the curb goes back to normal height and the flap caught between tyre and curb

Is it salvageable or do you need a new inner arch now?
If the flap bracket is damaged you should be able to just get that part......

It's all salvageable I'll pop it back on when I get half hour free and it's not raining lol. The flap is still attached to the arch lol

Did you ever read about scooby owners tearing wings off when doing the same? Something to do with how the flaps are bolted on directly to the wing, literally the whole lot comes off!

Ouch, my bro done the same thing in his scooby but it just ripped it in half and luckily not pull the wing off

Least it was just the mud flap and arch liner could of been worse.

I did the exact same Craig a couple of months ago to the same side as you.

It all went back together just fine however underneath the arch liner there is a small white push in clip that goes in to a square hole in the metal,well that came out with the bolt. It bent the hole slightly so had to hammer it back it to shape.

I need to watch every kerb with mine cause it lowered on its coilovers.

Yh it looks like one of the holes is out of shape so I might need the persuader for that too. If the rain stays away today I'll have a crack at it today I think, have to get te car started not used it for a few days and dam battery is dead

Weather was a bit pants today and ha a flat battery so sorted that instead I'll have a crack at it prob tomos mate

The battery has just taken a beating over the last year with a couple of long periods where the cars not been used so it run flat and not been the same since keep meaning to get round to replacing it lol
