widest wheels and lowest off set for a evo 4

i have just got me a evo 4 and i love it to peases ,but its needs a fadom touch ,so im going to treat it to some eather apex lowering springs or tein ,and then put some nice wheels on hur ,what is a ok size to go for , i will be running a 215 40 or 45 17 ,i really want to go a little wide as thats what im uesed to on my mx5 ,i hear that 8 j with about 35 et is ok without a arch roll ,if i can i dont mind a arch roll ,what can i go to then ??

any help on this will be super as im new to evos and wanna expand my knolege

yey another iv owner i got 8x17 with a 30et running 225/45/17 tyres did have to roll the arches thou certainly filled the arches tho

5 finger death punch!!!!!! ,how mutch rolling was needed and have u any close up pics ,side vew ect ....

8x17 et 37 with 215/45 and arch roll on the rear :)

we did this on my mates evo 4. wheels were evo 8 MR wheels :):)

i rolled mine all the way just froo safe keeping lol ive got d2 coilovers and it was pretty low, have raised it up a bit now

Them evo 8wheels look spot on. Was it only a gentle roll or a fully fledged flatten it all the way back. Ok if i dont have a roll whats the biggest then.
And is 215 45 the best tyer size


i did see them live in norwich a cupple of years ago. Dont know many of there songs but what i do know of them is really good

Ive got 235/40/17 on my 4 on e8 wheels. Needed slight rolling at standard height

Yea see my mates iV was lowered hence the need to roll the arches even though we took the 235/45 tyres off and replaced with original 215/45

I say roll, it was more of a wack with a soft mallet :)

Yeah my technique was with a hot air gun, mole grips and soft mallet. Did the job though.

think some one just wants to piss in my chips .just had a peoper look at my arches and it looks like there is a bit of filler on one ,so not sure if i can roll now ,one of my friends is looking in to it as he works in a body shop and has a roller ,so from what i can work out is that with a 215 45 17 evo 8 wheels will fit with no roll even when lowered ,what other evo wheels will fit no worries .
