We are on our way to Somerset in my dads golf, we brimmed it with diesel before we left and 111 miles into the journey and the needle hasn't moved

Ones I've had anyway I've often noticed a long drive it wouldn't move much then after another few miles the hand would he gone down a terrible lot

park up, turn the car off and start it again watch the needle drop! i had a mk3 golf diesel and use to do the same i use to get happy then turn the car off come back it use to drop when the fuel pump primed on ignition lool

lol thats the same thing i said to my dad but the gauge was working fine. 450 miles and needle just under half tank, better than my car lolz

Very true mate, I'll be honest I could get away with not having a car at all I walk to work and the car is just for personal so I actually don't even get ta drive the car much another reason why I would prob always find myself in the Evo lol, my work van gets my company mostly. I do enjoy from time to time a calm drive where I could easily potter about in a simple diesel I just dnt justify 2 cars

Thats not bad going, my best is 30.6 and I was really bored :whistling:

I was doing 65/70 down the motorway haha but when I upgrade it next year I'm hoping for more..we'll see!

Hahaha yeh I know I'm normally glad to be getting 180 to a tank but this was on the to pod with my bro.. He'd just picked up a Mazda 3 MPS with a tank full of supermarket crap fuel in it so we were burning it off with out ragging it lol:razz:
