Does anyone know where I can get brake disc skimmed in crosby liverpool

I asked about this but trouble is that it don't take much for the discs to get down to there minimum thickness. Check this before skimming and good luck finding someone to do it cos most won't bother as it doesn't always work.

Just buy some new discs. Camskill usually around £120 a pair.

Found someone who does them with it on the car. but being 4x4 can it be done with back wheels on the ground and front spinning £40 the pair

you'll have to have the back wheels off the ground too, but how can the get the tolerance with them in place? Next you'll say they want the engine running and in gear, I can see a Ferris Bueller moment coming :)

whats the thickness of the disks now?

In my opinion its not worth skimming discs as lee said.

Unless there brand new discs that youve buggered while bedding them in?

Been giving it some heavy braking today- almost emergency braking, it appears to be working. If it doesn't improve in the next few days, I'll give Jim a call
