hey up all im looking in to getting a tracker ive been looking on the net , and im wondering that do they bring the insurance down that much ??
There was another one (can't remember the name),cost effective. Approx. £150. Basically the tracker takes a sim card and can be topped up like a pay & go. You call the number and it sends you a text message with location
i would rather have a proper 1 fitted to be fair just seeing what there like insurance wise thats all
been looking at this
TRACKER Monitor Car Tracker inc. Nationwide Installation TRACKER MONITOR Car Tracker £225 Installed [Tracker Monitor] - £225.00*Inc. VAT : TRACKER | Car Trackers & Vehicle Tracking | Chameleon
i dnt want 1 that uses a mobile phone stuck in the car where i have to top up lol
omg just think tho if it did then what ?? or forget to top up ya car lol
Depends who you are insured with. I took out a policy a couple of years back for my impreza. I originally said it didnt have a tracker but i was checking through everything and found it did have one. I thought great i will get insurance cheaper if i tell them. I called and let them know and they said thats fine that will be an extra £80 per year wtf![]()
That was with admiral....
That's strange, they should've given you money back.
Yes mate thats what i was hoping for  i argued and asked how this was possible and they said thats just what it is, after that i told them ok it doesnt have one, i think they please themselves what they charge.
