evo 4 smoking

evo started smoking today, bearly visable when idle. Give it a small rev and it blows blue smoke, give it a high rev it turns to black smoke. And the last few days i've noticed a strong pertol smell from the exhasut and not getting as many Km's on a tank.

I know blue smoke means engine problem and black is fuel or oil, so does that mean i have a few problems? what could they be? expensive to fix?

Also i just got it serviced just over a week ago they said everything looks good, guess not.

It sounds like she burning oil I've never had this problem with any of the evos I've had so far

I had the same sort of problems with my 4 and it turned out to be my turbo seals, so used it as a good time to get a bigger turbo and all was fine.

if your blowig blue smoke it could be turbo oil seals as i found out a couple of months ago turbo technics sorted that for us for £195 +vat mine is the s204. black smoke will be unburnt fuel ie running to rich whats your setup ie ecu,injecters etc???:hm:

shes all stock besides a custom piping for airtake, thanks for all the replys im going to take it back to the misti dealer that did the service on friday, see if they will have a look for free
