mod update e4 :O) e5 rear spoiler ...

hi guys

as i had to work this week end and not being able to go play at the fast show / santa pod :O(

i decided to fit a e5 rear spoiler to my e4 that i got after having a impulsive / magpie moment on ebay the other day ..doh .. :O)



it was described as could do with a repaint but as luck would have it all it needed was a good t-cut .



the spoiler is a straight swap for the e4 one and the hardest part about swapping them over is removing the double sided sticky tape that helps to holds the spoiler on :O(



im happy with the overall look and improved rear view from the driver seat as there is no longer a center piller in the middle of the back window .

i cant get away from how nice the side view was of the car with the standard e4 spoiler but the new look from the rear makes it all worth while :O)



there is chat on other forums about whether these adjustable spoiler work or dont i feel they do :O)


so this is defo worth doing if not just to improve the look of the car from the rear :O)

got the plate knocked up to save editing the pics all the time .

just some vinyl over a plain plate .

am thinking of cleaning up the boot lid a little by removing the rallyart sticker and evolution iv badge ??

was thinking it should be under the osr light , will take it off and move it and see how it looks i think :O)

thanks again guys i do like how this has turned out :O)


took the rally art and the evo 4 badge off today what a mistake :O(


the rallyart badge was hiding 2 drilled holes :O( the old fog light i would imagen ??



and some uucker had stuck the evo badge on with some no more nails sh t

it took about 2 hours to get the stuff off and i broke the badge in 3 places in the prosess even using a wire pull bagde remover ' cheese wire :O).


so as im not looking to do any body work at the moment what i was able to do was move the evo badge up to cover the holes up perfectly


and i think it look better than befor but will have to see what it looks like in the day time :O)


and i dont think i will try and remove the other badges as they both look glued on to :O( why do it ????
