Distinctive Detailing RS500 cosworth detail

I had this RS500 in for some tlc its only done 53k and has been parked in a barn for 11 years and was in need of some loving, the car is in good condition but has the odd paint issue here and there but is a very good base to build a minter from. The owner told me that it was last driven 11 years ago through the farm yard through the cow dung to were it stayed for me to get it from under all the arches:smthumbup

on arrival

so to work on this rare ford, time to scrub

next step was to dry and wipe down the whole car with tardis before claying as the car was covered in some sort of yellow stuff

all seats on their way out for a cleaning plus headlining

exterior

a quick once over for the rear lights

back out for a rinse

other jobs undertaken was to replace the rubber seal round the nose cone plus put new weather strips on a pillars remove speakers from rear shelf plus put cam belt cover back on

What a difference Craig! Think you had your work cut out on that one but definately an amazing job on it.

cheers lads it really did transform the car in the end, the customer gave me a list of jobs to do at the same time wich put a finishing touch to it.

The car will be having the odd outing but it will be mainly in storage although i may well see it again with any look! but the next project will even top this boys!!!
