what engine can i fit in my evo 4 ?

hey all i think im gonna be looking for more power soon so im think as i have an evo 4 with evo 4 engine which i think is getting tired , so what engine is a straight swap ??

They all fit straight in no problem. Som slight revisions with regards to radiator hoses but other than that if something don't look right then just swap the parts over. From the 4 engine.
The main block is then same just bits that bolt to it vairey slightly.

Ideal would be a 8 mr or 8 260 engine as they have thicker rods. Failing that the newest low mileage one you can get

Once again as Lee has said ... Any 4-9 engine will fit. Only slight differences which may meen interchanging your old parts to fit. Basically the block will bolt straight in and all other bits bolt on from your 4 ....

Be able to push 360 with full stg 1 mods and 1.6boost on the 6 engine
Push 380+ with stg 1 mods and 1.8boost on the 7 engine, but with it being forged it will take more power but more mods needed

the forged 7 engine is now not for sale.. but gotta forged 6 one were just stripping as rattly bottom end,
power depends on what accillerys you fit to it... but as rob says they can take more abuse....
mines running 337Whp, 1.6 bar 209 turbo.....

well we stripped the engine yesterday, it needs a new rod, bearings and i would say a crank...
the block is fine, so if you wanna make an offer for the whole lot mate, its a complete engine, wit head....
