You can buy a 3 phase converter my dad has one got it for 100 quid
I d rather a lift than a pit

Most are 3 phase mate and will need converting to one phase for home use so end up mega money ! So it's not a little while saving knacker1![]()
And they need servicing every 6 months
Build a pit and then use a sliding ramp maye loads cheaper ....I just can't destroy the barn floor or I'd have a pit now ......ooh I've had an idea ! Nice one apsy !
i never jack off cills. always head straight for the front cross member/ cradle or at the rear i go for the anti roll bardamn - so my ride on ramps arent wide enough!
I have a phobia of trolley jacks and axle stands having bend sills on previous cars and getting paranoid where to put the stands.
They would be ideal.
Could justify your ramps though jonny. It just scares me seing it that far up in the air!
Pit sounds good though
I'd go for these. Much cheaper and with the extensions ideal for lowered cars or those with front lips.
Still gets them up in the air and tbh you dont really need them that hight anyway.
If you get two sets you can get front and back up at the same time and have a good crawl around underneath
1 PAIR OF 2 TONNE CAR RAMPS + RAMP EXTENTIONS BRAND NEW | eBay
I'm thinking of these ones personally
hm and you have a V yea ?I've got similar to these and even with the extensions the car still won't go on.
Fortunately the parking bay outside my garage is on a little slope and if I put the ramps at the top of the slope then I can (just) get it up on them.![]()
Just seen this little doozy on ebay and im thinking of getting one
anyone have any experience or ideas on it ?

It works on a ratchet and socket via a thread system, you lift up each side 5" at a time .
WOW! i like those! ijust have a low entry jack and two 2 ton ramps , work fine, but those ratchet ramps look great!
You do know that there is a jacking point on the n/s bar
