Hi all, just a little heads up for you all if it interests you...
...ITN news at 10 tomorrow, wed n thur is a 3 part special about 2 off my close friends and another soldier who all commited suicide after returning from herrick(afghan)
The 2 i know is james lindsay who was in minden platoon with me and aaron black who was in Acoy, who i went to school with and knew very very well.
if you could all just let friends and family know like i said if its something that interests them.

will do mate, yes its very sad, james and aaron had both left the army and obv struggled with "civvi" life and just couldnt cope with the transition.

2 great guys that i guess couldnt speak about there problems

Sad to hear mate, war effects some people in a bad way my cousin is a recluse now doesn't speak to his family hardly, been just over a year since he has been back and we worry the same fate as your friends, docs say slim chance but we just dnt know. I'll have a watch of it buddy

craig, there is sooo much help out there for "us" serving personnel and just as much for those that have got out the forces, but i know exactly how hard it is to open up and speak to anyone, ive been there in that dark place when returned from afghan. i have it all to look forward to again.

'help for heroes' all the way. i gotta take my hat off as like most people i have toyed with the idea of joining the forces butjust cant bring myself to do it, but the men and women who go and do this are the ones to be looked up to, and left right and center the goverment just screw em, makes me sick
