guys ive had a lapse in my journey on the road to recovery..........
ill start tonights meeting...Hi im Jonny and im a modaholic !
Well after replacing the silicone joiners and couplers on my car, and causing a boost leak that i cant find, after a massive panic and calls to pals in order to extinguish the flames of panic,I booked in to get it looked at .
Now heres where my addiction took hold and im ashamed..
As i was making a visit to my tuner who is along way from me I decided it wouldnt be worth going all that way for just a boost leak...so a pair of new rear arms were also ordered as mine were on way out......(OH Jonny dont be so hard on your self , I hear you cry) but it doesnt stop there.
A new thread appeared on MLR from sumo power, which involved a PM and a haggle in price..I felt the urges and tried to hold back but just as an enquiry (or so I told myself) I haggled a price for a Koyo rad and Monster thermostat.
I succumbed to the evil forces of my addiction..its been ordered and is being fitted tomorrow.
Thanks for listening guys and girls......IS THERE ANY HOPE LEFT FOR ME AT ALL !!!

i avoided parts for sale section so far today !! :shock::awesome:
but the laptop is out so i may well get my fix shortly :razz:
and instead of modding my own car i helped out a fellow evoowner in his quest for better brakes. we meet, he drove my car and was then instantly decided than a full set of carbotec XP10 brake pads were just what he is looking for
his car has now taken another step into modding world

whats the saying, a problem shared is a problem halfed
i didnt mod my own car so helped someone else mod theres. i never did any mods but still got my modding fix by helping someone else

Maybe it will catch on to me when the damn thing stops breaking
3 clutches and changed from pull to push or push to pull ? Can't remember which now, rear hub and bearings, cv joint, top mounts, diff fluids changed, new pads, 3/4 new batteries, negative battery terminal, Christ knows how many tyres, ( rear need changing again ! :shock: )
Things that need sorting : lash adjusters, off side arch has a crack in it and bumper has a couple of cracks in it, and brake disks all round
Things I want doing : re map, all pipes changed, rocker cover changed, wing mirrors changing, a few other little bits and pieces under the bonnet too
On the plus side my carbon bonnet has been ordered nice to see I have my priorities right lol !!

Personally I'd sell it and buy a minter that's been already mapped
