Working on your own car

After doing an oil change im just wondering who here works on their own car?

Personally I do most of my own stuff and love the feeling of taking it for a thrash after a couple of hours spanner twirling.

ill change the oil & filters etc, but anything else it goes straight to the garage lol

I am a mechanic by trade but dont work on the tools anymore so i will only do the jobs that you can get at from the top as I dont crawl under cars anymore due to age
but having said that i am a sales rep in the auto industry looking after the QLD area over here (very big area) so i have no shortage of people with hoists who will let me use them
