Where is my AYC relay?

Hi all. I am a newcomer to the site and i have a problem that i am hoping someone out there can help me with?
I recently purchased my first evo, an 8 fq300. WOW wot an amazing car!!!!
I have all three AYC lights on and have got a code 81 which is the AYC relay.
I have looked on an evo 8 workshop manual cd and it shows an electric pumps relay to the rear of the engine near the vin plate ( is this for the AYC?)
On my car its not where it shows it in the manual.!
Can anyone please help?

yes as the fault code is showing up 81, which is the code for a fault with the pump relay

the electric pump relay is usually found under the bonnet though, i read ur post wrong i thought u were asking if the code was saying u have a fault with ur electric pump lol

should be next to ur fuel pump relay on the right hand side

Thanks for your response. Your right, the AYC relay should be next to the fuel pump relay behind the engine. For some reason on my car i can see the two brackets where they should be but they deffo aint there?
Am gonna have to get my mechanic to trace the wires from the AYC pump when he has time!
