wheel bearing

hi folkls,i keet hearing a noise from the o/s front,thats gradually got worse, its fine when driving straight,its just when steering slightly to the right,i am just a tad confused,as usually if you hear a noise when turning right,its the left bearing thats gone?is this correct?anyway i jacked the car up and the front driver wheel is like a wobbly tooth,,and i just done the n/s bearing a few weeks back.

Sounds like mine bud, does it go away when you turn left if it does diffo sounds like your F/N/S bearing is going or gone, was the one fitted new or second hand????

the n/s front 1 i fitted was 2nd hand, but i have jacked the car up and its the o/s front wheel thats loose if you wobble it top to bottom,strange 1 m8

If there's play in it it would be the bearing, just check that everything is nice and tight
just in case somethings loose ;-)

yes m8,i checked wheelnuts and the connections in behind the wheel all seem fine,the wheel has a lot of play if i shake it top 2 bottom,,i just thought if you hear the noise when steering right,its the left bearing,but i hear it when i am turning slightly right,unless the both are fekt??i just replaced the passenger bearing few weeks back.

awrite mate if the wheel has play in it replace the bearing preferably with a new one in my opinion as you dont know good a second hand one really is
