What to do?

right went to get some price's off my mate for some new tyre's yesterday, about £300 depends on make(only 16 - 205's) which got me thinking i could get some e5-e6 17' with part worn tyre's for 200ish and would then be able to fit bembo's under too. but didn't do brake that long ago so not needed at mo. so i rang jap performance in crawey, they said they had some wrc tarmac 17's with part worn tyre's in white which they would straight swop? But surely my wheels are worth more even in 16's?So a i thought i'll see if i can get some bembo put in the deal and me add a bit of cash.
So do i. 1. Get some new tyre's and forget about.(could really do with some for the show) 2. try and find some cheap e5 wheels with tyre's then sell my wheels use money for bembo's and newer tyre's. 3 go to Jp and try and do a swap and maybe get some bembo's but would have to put money in i would of thought. 4 just go to Jp and do a swap. My wheels are ray's volk racing t e 37's 16' don't no how much there worth. Thank for reading. Any input would be great thanks. P.s friend said it would be a lot easyer to get runners in 17's if money's ever low!

Keep your rims and buy some new rubber for now and then when the pennys are a bit more spare then think about upgrading and sell your rims for something that you really want

keep your own rims and get new tyres for them they are mint.

i wouldnt waste my money on a brembo conversion i know the brakes on the evo 4s arent great but it could cost a grand for the conversion over all.you would be better off keeping that grand and trading up for evo 5/6

I'd say both sets of wheels are worth about the same and if you think about it it will save you having to spend £300 on tyres.

I sold a set of brembos for £150 + you still need to add discs and pads to that which will cost anything from £100- £800 so unles your going to up the power quite a bit and or thinking of going on track with it then I would save your money.

thanks guy's. Just going to get new tyre's for now like Nick said.plus just got it all looking together for the show. Look at bigger wheels and brake's after rebuild when like lee said have more power 360-380ish so that's when i'll need them. Thanks for helping me make my mind up lol nearly opened a can of worm's a week before the show. Lol.

You still running a std 4 engine? If so then you'll be lucky to get the power your after. I'd say 340/350bhp tops for a std 4 engine...

I got a full set of front brembos with good discs and nearly new pads and braided hoses for 250 delivered If you got the money (£300) for new tyres then I'd swap the wheels and try get some brembos with the cash

its getting rebuild with part's from a 8 ok i'll have a think mate cheers
