what clutch ????

well its time to change the clutch in my 4 and was wondering which type to go for as it is my every day car so i dont want a stiff pedal but would like a uprated type as im planning to play with the engine while its out any information would be great thanks again

exedy i would put my trust on.
for mods you could go for the hyper twin plate in the same make.
sick clutch but your talking sick £££'s too!

The twin plate would annoy you all day long.

Get a Helix or an Exedy but try not get one off ebay as the cheap priced ones are either reconditioned or mix and match. As for the fast road ones...........they finish fast once you hit the road!!!!

My Evo 4 had an Exedy clutch fitted last year before i bought the car, it annoys the hell out of me as it rattles on the overun and it's really noticable when driving round town at slow speeds.

by the sounds of it buddy, you have a twin plate!!!

It is not referred to as rattles, the technical term for it is "chatter".

Enjoy it while you can buddy. You did kind of get it for free with the car.
