dont think it will do any damage as long as you clutch it when you pull the handbrake but its very easy to loose control when u pull the handbrake that could cause major damgage!

Evos run integral handbrake shoes mate so yea youll probably rip them out and render it useless and maybe unexpectedly lock the rear wheels.

You just need a bit more power :):)

When I nail my car halfway round a roundabout you'd think it was rear wheel drive lol :):)

what type of diff set up is on the tommys always meant to ask??

anything like that was impossible in evo 4 gsr tried everything came into a carpark at about 40 mph pulled up the handbrake and buried the foot only half a donut:mad: ha didnt even bother trying in my 5

although when i used to pull out of a certain petrol station i could get her sideways everytime weird

Power is the key :)

I have a normal Ayc rear diff tommi and I believe quite a few Evo 6 have limited slip centre diff

My VII was the same once I up'd the power :)

what evo do you drive?

the 4/5/6 has a viscous centre so I would like to hold the handbrake on for long with these.

I'm sure on the 7 you can hold the handbrake and keep the front wheels driving, guessing the 8/9 would be the same:confused:
