I have an evo 8 260 uk. Thinking about replacing turbo with an evo 9 turbo. Just wondering if i can bolt it on directly without any mapping or do i need to fit it then go get it mapped in. ????

Planning on gettin exhaust, already have induction kit bought etc. Turbo and fuel pump plus remap next

you should get it mapped, but my mate been running a 9 turbo and elbow on his 7 for over a year now with no prob's. It was mapped to the 7 turbo then and 9 came up. And he aint't got round to getting it remapped yet its got a blocked ecu tek so has to go back to some where he don't want to send it. For other reason's,so just left it for moment
