Turbo flutter

I have been driving turbo cars with dumpvalves on them for a while now and I'm sick of the woosh sound. can anyone tell me how to make my Evo 4 make that wastegate chatter noise my car has a Bailey dumpvalve on it at the moment.thanks

remove the dump valve completely!


will put extra strain on turbo but some people have run without a d/v for years with no issues.

you may find part throttle jerky though....try it and see


I find it will also reduce turbo lag (although many will argue)

What will I do with the pipes when I disconnect it. it has two pipes connected one skinny one that sucks air in and a thicker pipe also.thanks for the help.

will need a bung for the larger one.

Ok I'll try that what would happen if I didn't block them?where are these 2 pipes comin from and goin to?sorry for all the questions I'm just trying to understand how the dumpvalve works all I have no mechanical knowledge at all trying to pick up a bit.
