Well peeps i had a day out at classic and sports cars of malton detailing a car for the classic car collector i do work for and what a day it was long.
First off we arrived to a farm in the middle of no where and then the only warm space available was in the work shop with the mechanics and fabricators, it was mucky and chaos but we got the job done in 8hours.
The car had been t-cut to death and did not have any shine at all so i did the best in the time i had, the car had been washed prior to me getting there so i got straight on with it,
inspection of the paint
as you can see there is no depth of reflection yet!!
Got my mate claying while i tested the combo needed
so after a cut with Megs 105 and a wool pad
looking at the boot
50/50 shot
so on to the rest
as you can see the door and rear quater now have a depth of reflection and the front wing has nothing
After the 2 stage machine polish it was time for some swissvax mirage
i set about polishing all the chrome
wheel trims and tyres sorted
next up engine bay etc
all polished by hand
interior was hoovered, leather/vinyl treat
so onto the finished job
not perfect but 100 times better than when we started
