ticking noice

Done an oil change used Millers nanodrive 5w40
After the change I didn't notice if due to music being on I went a drive around 100 miles or more thats when I heard the ticking noice when a turned off the music been told to add in a hydraulic tappet additive to the oil see if that helps then change the oil again but I think it could be from intake manifold

Start the car you hear a wee tick when you accelerate it gets faster this is when the car is cold and hot

any suggestions on what else to do

if you think its coming from the inlet maybe noisy injectors?

Could be lash adjusters mate, does it sound like its coming from the rocker cover? You can buy 3mm ones off ebay for about £100 the originals are only 1mm, The 3mm and 1mm relates to how big the oil way is in them, its a common fault i think

A tryed putting in a hydraulic treatment for it but am in two minds as the cars had 15w50 titan race pro r and I used 5w40 millers nanodrive so could it be my oil I used is to thin?
