Hey.
I'm totally new to the Jap scene and I'm not an evo owner (yet) but was hoping to get some opinions.
I'm reaching that age where I think it's about time to start planning my mid-life crisis. For that I have decided that I want a fun weekend car that I can tinker with, the type that I wanted as a teenager but was never able to afford. I've had some fun cars in the past, a V6 MG for the longest but have never had over 200BHP.
I'm not going to have a huge budget, I'm married after all, but I've been looking at what's out there and I have found the odd Evo IV about.
So time for some biased opinions.
Should I take the plunge and get one?
I must admit I prefer the Evo in looks compared to the likes of a scooby (sorry if that's a swear word on here).
What sort of power can you get out of one without denting the bank balance too much?
Thanks.
G.
