As above im sure that someone is trying do me over.

I placed a watch on Ebay for sale today for £40..

I had a message from Ebay to say i had a message from someone asking about the watch and to email them with more pics and PayPal details...

So i did, then i get a email from PayPal to say they had sent £70 to my PayPal account. i sat there thinking £70 .......

I got messages from PayPal id never had before saying it had been confirmed as being sent.... so i checked my PayPal and no sign of money yet. so i had a look at the Ebay user's account....

They joined up today and have no feedback score at all

She is from Nigeria and saying shes in Miami on holiday and buying it for her paster's Birthday.

Anyone had a similar thing ever happen to them?

Hi, was selling a mobile phone on eBay and low and behold had the same kind of experience, but the only differance was I didn't give my PayPal details. They pushed and pushed offering more money than I was asking which normally anyone would jump at lol but you just know when something isn't right. Sorry to be bearer of bad news but I would advise you to contact PayPal and eBay as you will no doubt have to change details so the little tee leaves (being very polite now) can do no damage. Hope all goes well mate.

Yh it's a scam 100% happened to me, don't bother replying to any emails as they will just make you more and more cheesed off. Tip for future never supply PayPal details aside from eBay let the auction run unless you speak with the part involved

one trick is they send you a fake paypal email. If you log in with your password then they have your info.
Always go to the actual paypal site separately to log in, never follow someones link.
