Hello folks, I'm after some technical advice please.
Strange one but here goes......
I'm having starting issues with my Evo. It's been off the road for 7 months and only did just over a 1000 miles last year after the head gasket was replaced (and ran trouble free for these miles).
I have charged the battery and it stated first turn of the key....then the next morning I went to it and it struggled to turn over and start, but it started. Then later that day I started it to move it, turned it off after moving it then went back to it some 5 minutes later and it just turned over and wouldn't start...put the battery on for a quick charge (5 mins) and it stared at the turn of the key.
Next morning went to it and it was lazy starting again, but it started. Then went for drive (about 5 miles) turned it off to go into a shop, then went to start it and it hardly turned over and wouldn't start, left it a minute and tried again and it struggled but it started. I took it home (pi55ed off that it was playing up) and parked it, gone to it today (2 days later) and it started on the key straight away!! So I'm totally confused as I thought it was a knackered battery but after today I'm not sure.
To add to this the speedo has started to play up with the needle dancing about, but this is only intermittent.
Just to add when I'm driving the car it runs like a dream
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
