Standard evo 6 piston numbers

I'm led to believe my car is forged and only way I could find out is either dropping the sump or using a bore scope with a plug out.

Luckily enough a work mate bought a bore scope last week and managed to take a look yesterday at the piston crown with a plug out. It has a light on it so made it a little easier but could only get a few numbers/letters and I know there was another row of numbers/letters.

Only thing I could see with it was 8852k, again there might have been a few numbers after/before and there was another row above it which I couldn't see.

I've had a quick search to see if I could find standard evo 6 piston numbers or even a picture to see if they have this number to no avail. The guy said that it had wiesco pistons in the advert if those part numbers match anything from wiesco?

You may never know without the full numbers. Giving/reading only part of the numbers could meen anything.
Serial number?
Batch number?
Etc ...

Was there no receipt with the purchase for parts and/or fitting?

Ill have to take another look and try and get the full number, if those numbers aren't on a standard piston then I know that something has been chaned in there :)

This is a evo 5 piston. I know they are very similar on top as a evo 7 piston so evo 6 the same :)

It was imported in 2002 and the pistons and rods are the only thing I can't find history for, it has ARP head stud kit already and is on 59k miles and has had a new cambelt and balance belt so I know the heads been off at some point just need to double make sure the other main 2 bits have been done.
