Hi all,
So I have an EVO X SST 300. It’s a 2010 with 44k miles. FSH. Standard other than an upgraded exhaust. Had no issues with the car until yesterday. Pulled into the motorway, and the car did not seem to know what gear to be in. Gears jumping around and slipping, engine management light came on. Had to get it recovered home. Any ideas what it may be? And more importantly who is the best person to take it to for repair?? The car is driven very gently, run on Shell V Power only and had a gearbox service with proper Mitsubishi fluid 12 months ago. Any help would be much appreciated!! I know these are a complex gearbox and want it to go to the right place who aren’t going to charge me 5 grand for a gearbox they’ve fished out a puddle in a scrap yard.
